When we tell prospects their operations suite can be live in about a month, the reaction is usually polite disbelief. They’ve been trained by an industry where six months is “aggressive.”
So let’s open the hood. Going live in a month isn’t heroics — it’s arithmetic. Here’s the model, week by week.
The head start: what exists before day zero
Every Appilite build starts from our base product — the layer that’s identical across virtually all business software:
- Identity and access: login, user management, roles and permissions
- The shell: navigation, dashboards, search, settings
- Communication: in-app, email and push notifications
- Reporting: filters, exports, scheduled reports
- Mobile: a ready application shell for Android and iOS
- Plumbing: audit logs, data backup, security hardening
This foundation is maintained continuously and tested across every deployment that runs on it. When your project begins, roughly 60–70% of your finished system already exists — and you don’t pay a rupee for it.
Week one: discovery and the module map
We start with a focused discovery session — usually 30 to 90 minutes, not a month of workshops. We need three things: the modules that run your business, the workflows inside each one that make your operation unique, and your user count and deployment preference.
From that, you get a concrete plan within days: modules, timeline, and a transparent price. No estimate ranges wide enough to drive a truck through.
Weeks one to two: AI-accelerated assembly
This is where the model earns its keep. Our engineers assemble your modules on top of the base product, using AI to accelerate the repetitive middle layer — forms, screens, validations, standard reports — while they concentrate on the parts that need judgment: your business rules, approval chains, and edge cases.
A typical five-to-six module suite takes eight to ten working days to assemble. Our benchmark example — HRMS, facility, visitor, inventory and workplace management — was built in eight.
Weeks three to four: your data, your people, go-live
Software isn’t live until your team actually uses it. The final stretch covers:
- Configuration and branding — your logo, terminology, and structures (departments, locations, shifts)
- Data migration — employee lists, stock registers, asset lists, moved in from the spreadsheets they live in today
- Integrations — biometric devices, Tally/ERP, payment gateways; free when the other system has clear documentation, viability and credentials
- Training and pilot — key users first, then everyone; issues surfaced and fixed while attention is high
- Go-live — with our team watching the first days closely
What happens after
Post-go-live support runs under an SLA bundled into your per-active-user licence — the same licence that covers hosting, servers and updates. There’s no separate maintenance contract, and no vanishing act after launch.
Where the month goes long
Honesty matters here: some things stretch the timeline, and we say so upfront. Very large scope (ten-plus heavily customised modules) gets phased — core modules live first, the rest in waves. Undocumented legacy integrations get scoped separately before we commit. Slow decision-making on your side moves dates too — we’ll tell you exactly which decisions are on the critical path.
But for a focused suite? A month is not a stretch goal. It’s the standard output of a model that refuses to rebuild what already exists.
